The town was originally called Redberry. The name was changed to Luxemburg on December 1, 1906.
The name was changed to Hafford on December 1, 1913.
The Post Office opened on September 1, 1906.
The first Postmaster was Andre Choque, who hewld the position from 1906 until 1913.
The current population is 360.
