I N N I S F A I L

The town was originally named Poplar Grove. The name was changed to Innisfail on April 1, 1892.
The name comes from an Irish-language epithet for Ireland, Inis Fáil, "Isle of Destiny".
The Post Office opened on April 1, 1891.
